Thermal paper is suitable for scenarios that do not require long-term storage and require fast printing, with core applications concentrated in the following industries:
Retail: Supermarket/Convenience Store/Pharmacy Cashier Receipts, Price Labels, Promotion Labels, Barcode Labels. The commonly used width is 57mm/80mm, and the common specifications are 58 × 50mm and 80 × 80mm.
Catering: meal orders, checkout receipts, kitchen receipts, takeout orders; Food packaging labels (name, price, production date, shelf life). It is recommended to use a three proof type (waterproof, oil proof, and scratch proof) for high temperature and humid environments.
Express waybill, logistics label, delivery list, inventory management label. Most of them are thermal label papers with gaps/black labels/continuous formats, which are easy to scan and track. It is recommended to use a three proof type outdoors or during transportation to protect information from stains.
ATM receipt, POS purchase order, bank card transaction receipt, bank queue call form. Mostly with a narrow width of 57mm/80mm, requiring clear printing, anti-static, and smooth paper flow.

Thermal paper is not suitable for long-term archiving, and ordinary handwriting is usually only stored for 1-3 years; Strong light, high temperature, and humidity can accelerate fading.
Important documents (such as medical reports and contracts) are recommended to be photographed or scanned for backup in a timely manner, or to use high storage thermal paper.
